Due to the NBAs strict policy on the amount of color players??sneakers were to have, Michael was prohibited from wearing the Black/Red??Air Ship as a rookie in 1985. This Banned 2020??is nearly identical to the two-tone black-and-red style seen on the Air Ship in question. Red leather appears on the perforated toe, eyelets, collar, and heel. Jordan Brand adds contrasting black leather panels to the look. A red leather Swoosh appears on both sides and a black Wings??logo can be found on the collar.
