Using an overseas exhibition game during Michael Jordans rookie NBA season for its inspiration, the Shattered Backboard 3.0??colorway uses a similar color scheme as its predecessors and applies a few key subtle tweaks. Crinkled patent leather now replaces standard leather found on the first two versions of the shoe. A black glossy leather covers the mid-panel, forefoot, and ankle collar with bold contrasting orange leather appearing on the Swoosh branding over the mid-panel, as well as on the perforated toe and lateral panel.
