The Air Jordan 7 Pantone??is an April 2017 release by Jordan Brand that honors Michael Jordans college alma mater, the University of North Carolina. The Pantone??first made headlines when it appeared as a sample shoe in 2010s World Basketball Festival. Later, based on the shoes popularity in the sneaker community, Jordan Brand decided to give the UNC??inspired colorway a proper retail release. The Jordan 7 Pantone??was released alongside other Jordan models in Tar Heels colors that spring, including the Jordan 11 Low University Blue.??Here, the upper is dressed in a full monochromatic University Blue synthetic nubuck material for an attention-grabbing look. An embroidered Jumpman logo appears on the collar and light blue ??3??insignia can be found on the back of the shoe.
